For more than 50 years, Girl Scouting has been an integral part of my life, complete with many fascinating and fulfilling events. My Girl Scouting experience began with being a Brownie, in a troop led by my own mother. Through the years, my experiences instilled a great desire to pass along the knowledge and skills I have gained as a Girl Scout.

My path has taken me from a young girl, eager to learn, to a troop leader, eager to teach. I have been fortunate enough to carry on the traditions my mother started with me as I led my own daughter’s troop for many years.

Today, my daughter is a grown woman, but that hasn’t stopped me from wanting to share the wonderful experiences I have had with others.

This website is dedicated to teaching and it is my hope that it will help many mothers and daughters share the unique growing experience that is what the very core of Girl Scouts is all about.

One of the most recent projects I have undertaken is a series of video camping tutorials featured on this website and designed to help adult leaders polish their skills. Whether you review them all or just pick out a few to watch, I know it will be time well spent!
